Pre-ordering Kindle on Amazon. How does it work?
When you preorder a Kindle that’s not available yet do you pay for it NOW or just reserve your spot and pay for it later?
I want to pay for it NOW because I have the money right now and want it out of the way. School starts close to September and I’ll be buying $100+ dollar textbooks and I want a Kindle so I want to pay the $200 for it NOW so Amazon won’t be asking for that money in September.
I won’t be able to get it in September because textbook money will be priority and as of RIGHT NOW I have the $200+ so I want it already have that Kindle paid for and with it being so new and wanted I probably won’t be able to get on until Christmas .
I already know it’s going to take like years for it to ship because so many are on preorder but I want to get in line and pay for it NOW!
How does it work?
They will not take the money now on a item that they know is not going to be shipped until later.

You can either email the gift card to yourself or have them mail a physical one. I would suggest the email one as that is more convenient.
Heck just to make it a point that the gift card is for the Kindle and Kindle only, choose one the gift card designs specifically maarked for Kindles!!
